PHASE ONE: DEFINE

The Watershed Project framework allows you to completely customize your approach.

The DEFINE phase involves a lot of decision-making. It starts with immersing students in their watershed at the beginning of the course through an Entry Event (1a). From there, students start to explore potential topics and identify community needs (1b). The ensuing decisions can be determine by you or decided as a class (1c). We encourage you to empower students to direct the experience as much as you can.
